Pyrography!

So on a whim I bought a wood burning tool. I didn't know if I would like it or even be able to do it, but after some messing around, I think I'm getting the hang of it! What an interesting medium. It's relaxing--you definitely have to take your time with it, and the smell of the seared wood is so nice...especially since I can't get that with my gas fireplace.

I doodled a koi on a block of scrap wood, and it's turning out better than I imagined. I will try to post it here if I finish it!

Ah yes, the stats. It is what drives me to use this site on a daily basis.
I dream about transforming my 2-digit page views to a 3-digit number every night. Sometimes I reload my page every minute at work just so the stats would go up.
